The heir gets the house, the name and the seat at the head of the table. He gets it on a Tuesday, in a lawyer's office, and he will spend the rest of his life keeping the roof on.
The rest of us get the weekend.
WEEKEND HEIR is for the second son. For the friend of the family who was invited for lunch and stayed until Sunday. For the plus one who knew where the good glasses were by the second evening. You inherit nothing on Monday. From Friday to Sunday the villa, the court and the pool are yours to borrow, and nobody at the table asks whose they are.
Taste is not inherited
That is the sentence on the back of the Signature tee and the reason the brand exists. Money passes down. Houses pass down. Taste does not. It is learned at other people's tables, borrowed from people with better shoes, occasionally copied and eventually your own. The family tree is optional.
Why the back
The front of a WEEKEND HEIR shirt says nothing. The back tells a story: a terrace above the bay, a marble figure who stayed too long, a fountain at six o'clock. You never see it yourself. The people behind you do, on the stairs, at the bar, walking away from the court. It is the difference between wearing a logo and wearing a point of view.
One blue
Every print is engraved in a single blue. Royal on white for the daylight hours, electric on black for after dark. No gradients, no second colour, no explanation. Six prints, six ways to spend a borrowed weekend. Each one has its own story in this journal.
