Serie I is six engravings and one blue. Royal blue on white, electric blue on black. No second colour, no second print position, nothing on the front. The engraving sits across the upper back, about eleven inches wide, where it reads from across a terrace and stays quiet at the table.
Why engravings
We wanted prints that look lifted from an old travel book rather than drawn on a screen. Hatching instead of gradients, a single line weight, a title in tall serif and one line of small print underneath that tells the rest of the story.
The six
The Borrowed Villa. Someone's house above the bay. Terrace, cypress, balustrade. Back by Sunday.
Signature. The wordmark on the back, the brand line underneath: taste is not inherited. The quiet one.
After Dinner. A marble figure glancing over his shoulder. No curfew in the will.
Court Hours. A classical athlete with a racket he never had to earn. No practice on Mondays.
Pool at Six. A shell fountain and a striped curtain. Return before Monday.
Well Read. A seated reader with no intention of finishing. The library was included.
Why one blue
